Another weekend....another car show!

The city of Trenton had their Roar on the River festival last weekend. It featured miniature hydroplane race boats on the river and a festival in Elizabeth Park. The car show was Sunday. Of course I had camera in hand...

Man, alot of nice chevy's in there. I seen a nova and a chevy II. That chevelle was nice. And why does vetteonr have his duffle bag under the gas tank of his vette. He sleeping under there or what? lol

Did ya ever notice? At these car shows, you see a lot of Fords, Dodges, and everything else with CHEVY engines in them....You never see Chevies with Ford, Dodge, or anybody else's engines in them....

Third car in post #6, I had a plastic model like that when I was a kid probably my first exposure to the concept of cars or hotrodding. AMT model corporation. 1958??

I see "Frosty" made her debute again :D

I really looked closely at these pics, probably one of the best batch Al has taken. I don't mean quality, but rather the collection. There're a lot of cars there that really stood out as ones we would like. That Jeep with the blower is a rerun. Where's Ray when you need him?

That's actually another chair that I didn't take out of the bag. It was a pretty good setting for a show, a nice grassy field. It was a little warm that day though.

Thanks Jerry. I try to get a good variety when I shoot these. I know the jeep with a blower is a dupe, but I thought you'd enjoy it. Nice catch. I guess the mind hasn't gone completely yet. And that's a good point about Ray, we haven't heard from him in a while. And Beefy too!

Once again Vety, you took some nice Pictures,and if my dreams come true,you might be taking a picture of mine, yes every body I still drive by and look at the 39, just sitting there with dust on it. If some one else don't take the ford from me and yes, my wife does know about it. We have to pay off some med's bills first.Thanks for filling my eyes with more dreams. Great shots and it looked like a great show. you are right the best shows we have been to are ones in a park like setting.

The 67 Chevelle with the dog dish hub caps was nice , a sleeper until you open the hood or start it . :)
