OK...OK....I know someone out there has an answer for me...I drive a really great '95 Buick Riveria..Now, for the problem...Whenever driving towards the sun, even if it's high in the sky, the reflection off the top of the dash onto the inside of the windshield obscures my outward vision thru the windshield...The owner's manual cautions owners NOT to apply silicone preservatives to this area as it may cause visibility problems, however, cleaning the top of the dash doesn't seem to help.....I've resorted to driving around with a dark blue blanket covering the top of the dash, and it does make a world of difference...I can see....Does anyone know of any magical, dark, dull substance that I can apply without damaging the original dash cover?? Right now, I'm considering double sticky tape, and making the blanket installation more-or-less permanent..It'll look like doggie doo-doo, but it may prevent an accident....I'm open to almost any suggestions.

I believe Chevrolet makes a product called "Dulls So" I'm not really 100% sure of the name. It is probably available from any GM dealer. I remember the owners manual mentioning it for use with my 1984 Corvette dash (since been sold; daughters in college). Anyway it should take off the shine. Also, another product that used to be available, was a dull formula of Armour All (non gloss), but I haven't seen that on the shelf for a long time.

CARSANDCYCLES: OK, It's near lunch, and I have to pass a Chevy dealer on my way home for lunch, I'll check on the "Dulls So"...
CARGUY: Yeah, I've seen something like that also, that's where I got the idea of the blanket....I'm loaded alright, but only AFTER "happy-hour" yeah, right...
Thanks for the recommendations, I'll give ya a follow-up soon.
