Why should I care if major league baseball players go on a strike?

If these cry babies on both sides didn't learn their lesson the last time they cancelled the World Series and they go on strike again, the hell with 'em! I'm not a big baseball fan, but I do know some die hard fans and they have said they wouldn't go back again if they went on strike. Thank goodness football and hockey will be starting soon!

Both games, baseball and golf, are fun to play, but ugh. The world series is cool I guess because the people in the stands make it exciting. But heck, most games there is no one in the stands.

I'm surprised they can afford to pay these players what they do with the amount of people you see in the stands. TV needs to not pay as much in their contracts.

"again" is the key word Rapideo. After the first World Series cancelling strike, a lot of guys said wouldn't go back but did. If it happens again, as it looks like it will, I think people will envoke the "2 strikes and your out" rule. With TV ratings and attendance down all across the country, somebody in charge better wake up before it's to late.

We just have a minor league team here, they are'nt making waves, home games are crowded, they lose more than they win, but every one seems to enjoy.

Our local triple a team is actually playing it's second to last home stand up here. Next season they are moving south. Part of the reason might have been poor attendance but I think some of it was all the changes the league dictated that we must do to the stadium. It isn't like we have the tax base to be blowing money on a baseball team. We are being taxed to death up here as it is.

Just my 2 cents.....
