What Is Up With Tnn?

Ok. TNN has been on a downward spiral since day one but now there are nothing but infomercials, star treak, and american gladiators. Im really mad that I am missing trucks and those other fine shows. I remember they used to play the old episodes of Dukes Of Hazzard. But they stopped. That was a good wholesome family show. That show is responsible for sparking my intrest in hot rods. Shame on you TNN.

TNN just isn't the same. You could kill a whole Saturday afternoon watching car shows. I have to kind of disagree on the Dukes of Hazard thing, ugh!

TNN is now called "The New TNN"?! whatever that means. Trucks is on Saturday mornings around 9:30. TNN spread all the car and truck shows out. I watch at (:30 saturday morning and I think suday morning about 9:30 they have horsepower tv or PHR TV. Thats all I have, I don't get the channel that TGG comes in on. you have to upgrade to digital cable to get that channel :(

As far as I know you are only watching repeats of these shows, or whatever is left in their inventory. I think Trucks was cancelled along with several of the other shows.

The original TNN was "The Nashville Network", the new TNN is called "The National Network" now. When the auto shows leave, I'll be calling it "The No-longer-viewed-by-me Network".

that Is my favorite show.. That's it i'm unplugging the TV.

Well I don't know what to say, but all my info says they are no longer. They could very easily still have new shows airing for I don't really watch the show. They will probably end up on Speed Channel as well. We'll see.

i hope they do something soon cause i am lost with out those shows as it is i very semldome get to catch a episode of tgg. Speed Channel needs to have a da like saturday that tgg and all of there other shows are on that would make it alot better for veiwers i feel.

That's the problem BIG BRY. You should care!!!! I said before in this Forum that there is safety in numbers. Your show is on at odd ball times here in Phoenix. It was nice to have the car programs back to back on Saturdays and Sundays. Now it's catch as catch can. To watch your show I have several choices. Saturday at 1:00 PM , Thursday at 4:00 PM and Tuesday at 7:30 AM. None of the times are preceeded of followed by car related programs.

I would be jumping up and down to achceive a wider viewing audience. Speed channel programming people should be aware of this issue and if their not, you should bring it to their attention.

It is in the best interest of all concerned to provide the best and most LOGICAL PROGRAMMING possible.
Car guys usually stick together. We need you on our side.

the speed channel seems to be having a lot of nostalgia going on with the motorcycles and car races of the 50's and 60's. i hope the speed channel stays with motorsports, unlike m-tv or vh-1 that has been turning into movie channels. i did see vanishing point on speed channel though.

I could not tell you were kidding around. Usually when someone is, they add a "LOL" or "LMAO" so the reader knows.

The TGG show on thursday 6:30pm central is preceded by Motor Week,
a show thats been around awhile, previewing new models.
Its (TGG) followed by Car Crazy, a show hosted by Barry Maguire,mostly doing interviews with such as Craig Breedlove, Parnelli Jones ect.
The two I caught had lots of film clips, very interesting.
Breedlove will be going at the land speed record again.

Thursday is the premiere night. That is when the show first airs. It is also the time slot that is least likely to being moved.

Thursday night is is the airing of a New Show. That's 4:30PM on the west coast. What a Banner time slot. I guess the target audience should be home from school by then.

HE HE, HA HA, Just Kidding, Tongue in Cheek, etc.
