Dear Sam and Dave
Hi! I a new member and have been watching your programs regularly. Good show! Recently I was browsing auto websites like honda and others where I came across the word horsepower and torque at a certain rpm range. I also gathered that most ordinary cars generate maximum power near about the 5000rpm range. But I'm confused about different makes and models showing HP outputs in different rpm ranges. How do I do the comparison? Will unitary method give me a fare idea? For example Toyota Camry gives 192ft-lb@5300 whereas Honda Accord has 240ft-lb@6250. How do I know which gives more power? Will appreciate your expert opinion.
Thankyou.
