there is a simple way to rid your inbox of them if you don't want them to crowd up you real mail box. Create a web based mail box and then in your user CP change your address to the new web box. Hot mail, Yahoo. There are may out there and you could just clean it up when you get the mind to. There are provisions in your TGG account that let you turn these off, in the email notifacations section, there is a line that ask's if you want this option, however I dont know if that works because I want them coming in for right now. Untill I learn to navigate this forum better I need all the help I can get. I hope this helps those who are bugged by this option.

Are they that big a problem? Go for it and with hotmail, I hear you get plenty of pornsite spam, so it'll be fun.

I use a web based mail for this forum, I use Yahoo, and I just open it and put it in the corner, no mail comes to my ISP inbox. You are right about the hotmail. plenty of un-wanted mail.

As quick as I can get one of my sons to explain what the above post said, I might be able to understand them......
In the meantime, did you guys know that spam was originally canned meat pieces?????

I used to have to eat it when I was grounded!!
By saying web based email, I meant one of the sites that offer free email. Got to www.msn.com or www.yahoo.com and they have two type of free mail I think, one of which is hotmail, and then use that e-mail for the updates for the post from this forum, a ISP is your Internet Service Provider. hope I have not made it worse on you.

never respond to spam mail, they mark you as "a live one" and peddle you everywhere, don't even try to unsubscribe just delete

Just turn off email notification in your profiles. We aren't affiliated with anyone as far as emailing. So you should not get any emails from us unless you have email notification turned on. Then you will get an email every time someone replies in a thread you have a message in.

at the bottom of every post you submit there is a box that you need to uncheck if you do not want a e- mail notice back from that post. Like if your last post was "Thanks for the Information" you really do not need to know when someone has posted "Your welcome". it works fine and I only get e-mail on the items I choose to get.

Both of the post above are correct, I have tried it and they work as they should. I still get mine sent though. I dont see it as a problem yet.
