Yes, in fact sometimes it is recommended. By using regular (dino) oil, the rings get seated properly, although even with synthetic, they will seat properly. Mobil 1 is factory fill for the Corvette and some Porsches. Most every oil, especially if they are of a quality brand name, are compatible with each other. And I'm sure you have seen blends and that should answer your question in kind.
