That storm never got here, I am about a hour from Bristol Tennessee and I was in Johnson city that day and it was a mess there, I have not seen snow in about two years so it was nice for a short change, I am sorry to hear of your ordeal though. I lived in Michigan most of my life and I know how the snow can hit, and hit fast. I put a intake on my dads car once and it was a big 73 or so Imperial and I just layed across the engine as I put the dist. in and all the little odds and ends and I kept hearing this odd squeak, It was the hood closing as the weight of the snow was coming down. It had snowed about 6 or 7 inches while I was working and I had not even realized it was coming down that hard.

I can remember a few years ago we had a big strom. I can remember opening the door and seeing eye level of snow. Not fun getting outside that day, shovel was outside

shoot, when I was a kid it was nothing to go make 50, 75 dollars in one day shoveling snow, push cars out, I always had money from the snow storms, I would offer deals to get the jobs because there may be 10 kids on one block shoveling. I have run deals that were worded like " from your car door handle to your back gate, 5 bucks" and then work like heck to het done and beat the kid at the next house..

When I ask my father why I am the only one out there he says, "what do you think I had a son for"

That is good of the two of you and also good that you are eager to be there for your parents as well. That is how it should be.

I will be 44 this Thursday, and it takes me more time to get it done, I just say it is because I think of the task at hand and then do it, and it always gets done better, stronger and last longer because of my experiance. That is what I say anyways..lol

Yes, it just goes to show you that a s 10 is a good truck, little but durable. Mine has over 135,000 miles on it and runs like a new one. It has its moments, but the air and everything else is still working like new..

There are 3 signs of getting old.
The first one has to do with your hair, either turning gray or just loosing it.
The next one has to do with your memory, I think.
And I can't remember what the 3rd one is..........

Towtrucks,

The main reason I carry a driver's license is to have some way to remind myself of who I am! Assuming, of course, I don't forget to bring it along!

The best to all this holiday!

Mike
