where did you go to school at? did you graduate from H.S.? Just wondering cause your spelling and your verbage really SUCKS, your trying to be cool by talking that way? Well its cooler just to talk in normal verbage that people understand, after all this is the U.S. and most of us speak and write in English, not jibberish..

I'm sorry but I am a big stickler on spelling and grammar, I got A's in H.S. and college when I was in English.

First off I have posted befor that I type how I talk. I live in Maine and have an accent of a Maine person so I can't help it. Second I am 16 and in school, and yes I am a very poor speller, thanks for pointing it out. No I am not trying to act cool. I am acting like my self so is there something wrong with that. I just said that I was going to clean up my language curseing wise. I am sorry that I spell poorly but there is no need to post a thread about it. If it that big of a deal to you PM me or E mail me.

We all can stand some spelling tune ups, myself for sure. But like stated above, this is not school and although this is the internet, it is real world and aint nothing perfect in the real world. The lessons learned in school have taught you well, but to insult someone for there lack of proper spelling on a automotive forum is showing that you missed the class in proper manners. It dont matter how it is spelled on this site, I have had to take a second look at some post myself, but I wont jump on someone on a public forum, now if it were a English class forum, then by all means. However it is not. I think Fotw has more class in the way he talks of his parents and that outways his lack of spelling perfection. I am not trying to offend anyone at all, but there is a place for a message like that, it is in the "PM" selection. Sorry

What I can't believe that you/he would open a thread just to say that. Without reading, I am pritty sure, any of my back threads. That I explained why I type like this. Or the fact that you/he would pass judgement on me after reading a few words written once.

We all excel at one thing or another here, and when some one new joins I am sure that they think, what are they talking about. The regulars see who posted and know how to read them as a individual. I see certain members post and know before I read that it will be a educated answer, or a professional response or just someone that has turned a lot of wrenches "me". That is what is so good about this forum. Dont take it to heart. There are over 3000 members and what, one or two has said anything to offend. You are alright, just get a dam Chevy!

What is wrong with Fords, my first car was a Ford and I beat the hell out of it,, and never once had to fix it,, I've own a few chevy's/GM products and always have to fix them,, just like my jimmy I have now, 3 days after I got it, I hade to put replace the electronic EGR valve, what fun.. lol,, and just the other day I had to install a heater core.

And I used to race a ford on our local track, and always finished in the top 3, not always first but in the top 3.

It don't matter to me,, I drive what I can afford to buy,, but if I can afford it,, I prefer Ford.. And I like to rib Dodge people too.. its in good fun.

And yeah you are right about the spelling, what I was getting at is it is alot easier to understand what the person is talking about if they can spell well. And to me if a person can spell well, it shows me that they have a good education,, there are some words that I misspell, and I have a college degree.

Now I'm confussed, rodknockson opened this thread because of incorrect spelling and improper usage of grammer, YET he has made any number of errors in his latest post.
Could the original topic have just been made in a joking kind of way, or is this possibly the latest version of "he who lives in glass houses shouldn't throw stones"????
