is my motor worth rebuilding

I found a 305 that has been torn down to a long block and setting outside a garage.it has rust and grime in the cyl and in the heads.Can just about any motor be cleaned up at a shop and bored out and reused?

Sure if there is no cracks in the block and head areas.A rebore should do the trick and then cleaned up with a cylinder hone.Get it hot tanked to get the get the grease and grime off it.
