Be careful now take your medicine like danny said you're starting to hear voices and hallucinating. That wasn't a Chevy you were driving that day it was that dilapidated Ford you own. But we are you're friends and we will help you see the light.

I'm sorry fotw I'm trying real hard not to laugh

BUT I JUST CAN'T HELP IT

That's right! With medication, therapy, and the right support group, most Ford guys see the light and realize the error of their ways. Don't worry fotw, just like chevy's slogan says "We'll be There" for you!

Daniel Wood
01-11-2003, 12:51 AM
What do you mean not mad yet LOL. We all know the point you were getting across, but did you have to use Chevy to pick on. Use Scott At Water or Elgin to pick on. Are you scratching your head right now and saying what the heck is that.

Trader Ray
01-12-2003, 06:19 PM
I guess it is still for sale, it is just I think he lives about 24 hours of drive time from here. She said it ran when there parked it there, I dont think she knows her husband has removed the parts because she did not mention it to me. It is a solid car, just not sure I would want to buy it, it was parked for a reason, they have not revealed it though.

I was asking about it for the motor I know that birds have strong motors, did you try and turn it over?

Daniel Wood
01-12-2003, 06:31 PM
Scott At Water and a Elgin outboard engines that were made a vety, vety longtime ago

Trader Ray
01-12-2003, 06:33 PM
No, I pulled in the driveway and seen it, I did not even get out. The radiator hoses was hanging down and I was dicouraged right there. Them T-birds do have good motors and usually the FMX transmission, it is a alumnium bell and steel center transmission, they were OK, but had overheating problems.

I did not know that either, I have two real old boat motors, Neptune is the brand. My dad had the running one for years, we had a flat bottom boat and lived in Michigan, there were 7 in our Family, and then the dogs and the coolers and the grills, he would somtimes tow me or my brothers on another rented boat. We went every weekend to fish or grill out, but any ways he always said when he is gone that that motor was mine, I was the one who got it started and I was always the one who went back to the shore to get more things from the car or more people for the picnic. The motor never had a muffler on it and was loud! It was like a one horse power and I am really wanting to say 1/4 horse power. We had never seen another like it and while laid off in my older years I would scrap metal and alumnium and what ever I could make a buck on I had in the back of my pickups, in other words I was a ally picker. Well, one day, my Dad with me we turn a corner and there sits a motor just like we had, we both hollared out at the same time. It is seized up, but has a muffler.I have them in my extra bedroom as they are real valueable to me. Want to see picure of them I will be glad to send them, I would love to get a better idea on the year era of them. The one still runs and I have never put the muffler one the good one as of this day.

If I remember right the Scott At Water was an air cooled engine I was just a kid when I saw my first one and it look like it was 20 years old than. We had a 10 horse Elgin and was a very good engine but you couldn't get any parts for it. The company had gone out of business.

Trader Ray
01-12-2003, 07:30 PM
