Was front wheel drive really worth it?

I love my rear wheel drive. Feels so much better being pushed than pulled.

I voted rear but its all about 4 wheel drive and all whel drive. I know most of you guys are against imports and all but go test drive a subaru WRX, Ive never had so much fun in a car. If you like that then go try a mitsubishi lancer evolution 8, its blows the WRX out of the water.

I'm undecided. I've driven lots of FWD RWD and 4/AWD cars. They've all got their good and bad sides.

Ugly????, no way, I won't say that's the best car design ever, but I wouldn't say it's ugly, it's acceptable. LOL

Rear wheel drive for muscle, front wheel drive for bad weather. And danny, you're right, there is no comparison.

Obviously not since the cars were build 30 years apart.
danny

that's not the only reason. it's the apples and oranges comparison

30 years apart??????
How is a 2001 Camaro, Corvette, Mustang, and Honda, or Toyota 30 years apart? They are all the same year models !!!!!

You can't get the same good sound out of the new ones you could the old cars.

Most people I know, when they refer to muscle cars, they meant the older 60s and 70s cars.

Camaro's, Corvettes, and Mustangs of any year are muscle cars.
Well everything was weak from 73 until about 86. And Mustang IIs were less then desirable. But you could and can build the snot outta them.

I must admit (somewhat shamefully) to owning a 76 Mustang II.
It had a 302 that someone had hot-rodded with Cam, Intake, Holley 4 Barrel and some god awe-full ground scraping headers.
It was OK I guess
