Well, I will say I jumped the gun and got Jeep the I wanted, it is a 2000 Wrangler with air and the two top design that enables me to take the hard top off and if I do run into some foul weather or just to much sun shine I can just flip the soft top up. It has a great sound system and is the Green & Tan colors that I wanted and the only thing I wish were differant about it is, it is not the 4.0 6 cylinder. Very low milage and I did have to trade the Blazer in, I could not refuse the trade in I got for it, plus the tags were up and why buy two sets. I am very happy about it, I need to do some checking up on the engine stats as far as horse power and torqe, it is a very nice vehicle and I will miss the Blazer but not that bad in a few days..LOL This is just a update on the ones who knew I wanted a Jeep, and I probally will change my screen name or at least my signature when I realize this is not just a dream..LOL

Naw, The old Blazer was just that, Old. I know that it has served me well and I figure it will run around here for a good long time, just as long as it dont pass me while I am walking I will be alright. The Jeep is used, and yet some of the things are still never used on it at all. The top has never been off I dont think because the warning tapes are still on and the hex head bolts are still looking like new with now paint missing. I thank you for your warning though. I have a good extended warrenty with it too.. I have found some good Jeep pages to check out on the web and found the H/P and torque ratings I wanted already..

Thank you Danny, I think it is a practical buy for me, and I can see having it for years. My woman has a nice car and if we need a car for a long trip, we have it. But I dont see leaving the Jeep behind often..lol

Congrats on the new ride s10. It sounds like you got what you wanted. Don't change your screen name though, but if you do, we'll still call you s10. lol It must have been tough letting an old friend go. Well, at least it's not a Ford! ;)

Yea, I still leave work and look for the Blazer, I see the Jeep and think "nice ride" then remember "oh yea" And no, I wont change my screen name because I will get another s10, only a truck. The Jeep does not have no room behind the seat. It is nice to own one now though, it has rained since I got it but is going to the 70's this weekend. I also moved and that is what the want of a truck is about lol

Its always good to have a truck around to haul stuff with. too bad mine has a shock tower in it.

I have found a 6 X 8 trailor for $50.00 and it will save me the insurance and tags and the other things that go with owning a third vehicle and dont need to worry about upkeep as well. I got lucky on it.

I had a Jeep Cherokee with the 4.0L in-line 6. Very smooth, decent power (towed a ski boat). You should be happy with it.

The only problem I had with it was the PCV system pulled oil into the air box. Had a little oil on the filter and some in the box, but otherwise no problem.

The utility trailer is the way to go if you don't need a truck bed every day! It is a nuisance if you have several stops to make and you do have to plan where you park, etc., but not having to maintain a third vehicle makes up for that in spades.

NO say it isn't so s10 ( just kidding ) I'm glad you got it. You'll have a lot of fun, I had a J10 truck with a 360, 3 speed standard shift on the floor 4x4. You could put it in low range and take off and in change to second gear and it didn't sound like it was in a strain, also you could put it in high range and go as fast 40 miles an hour and that came in handy when it was sleeting and snowing.

But somehow were going to have to figure out away to put a sbc under the hood.

Again Congratulations

I have ran that thing to death this week and it has rained all week as well, but going to the seventies this weekend, Top is coming of, it has two tops and one slings up if the weather changes it mind. Thanks again..S10

No, I dont miss it at all. The place I traded with made a fast sell as the Blazer is already been sold and seen driving around town, Had the pleasure of driving with the top removed all weekend. It was great.
