ami gonna blow a tranmission or kill my rear end if i take my stock 305 and make it have 350-425hp?? lol
should i just invest in a new rear end and transmission while im at it?

350hp from a 305 ha ha
maybe with 12.5:1 compression and race ported ALUM heads.
turbo 350s and 400s are cheap to rebuild and very strong.

you want a 350ci block with a 4 bolt main.

tranny is a turbo 350 and rear end is an 8.5

NO PROBLEMS. The 350 transmission is very strong and so is the 8.5 rear gear. I run the 350 turbo with a 7.5 rear gear with my 350 engine.

If you have that little 7.5" gear, yes you'll break it. Been there, done that with a 76 Nova. I broke 4 before I found a multi-leaf
12 bolt.
