Smoke coming from your PVC Valve? Do you mean smoke coming out of the hole that the PVC Valve goes into? A little smoke is no big deal. There is always some amount of blow-by. I have seen engines so worn that they would push the oil dipstick out of the engine and puke oil all over the side of the block. There is a high RPM valve (for lack of a better term) that goes to your air cleaner. I've seen that one puke oil all over the air filter. If it allot of smoke then worry but if it is just a little wisp of smoke don't bother yourself over it. Either way, It's a Ford. Drive it till the wheels fall off (which will be a very long time).

Is this a baby lincoln with a 3.0 v 6 if it is ford had trouble with head gaskets in the mid 80's If it's puffing out the valve cover hole it's called blow by from warin rings how much do you have? how hi is the miles on it as beefy said drive it till it drops. Can you feel air pressure comming out or just a little smoke. the thing thats in my head is can this be steam and not oil smoke. dose the oil look like a milkey white if it is then I would think head gasket is it going through coolant or running hot?
