Work attire

So the time has come to get some work boots. Ive always worn sneakers but ive decided its time to take the plunge and get some steel toes, besides the look cool too.

What do you guys wear? Everyone ive spoken to swears by redwings.

i recently bought a pair of brahmas at wally world-look and wear like sneakers but with the steel toe advantage-cheap too, about $25

I have Big Cats made by caterpillar. Great boots, and comfy too! :D

I have to recommend Wolverines. Non-skid sole and tough. I've had mine for about four years of everyday wear. They can be kinda pricey, but for four years the cost-per-day is low. :-)

Question.....if you've got steel toes, how do you trim your nails? He he he

I just bought a pair of really nice Redwing boots. My dad's that I did wear were wearing out. Very comfortable. Steel toe, Electrically resistant, Stainless steel sole to prevent nails and such from piercing your foot. very nice boots.

Rockports for me....but those are work style dress shoes....I have to wear a noose to work.......

Word to the wise......spend the money on your feet.....it is well worth coming home not whipped 'cause your feet are killing you, plus if you need the protection with steel toes then the one time you need them and don't have them and loose time because they would have helped....... then the money's worth it.

Wolverines are on my floor mat every day, I have a pair I have had since 93 and with a little effort clean up enough to go to court in (if needed) lol

I always get Red Wings. ! wear a size 14 EEE and most stores don't have that size plus if you go to walmart or somewhere like that, they don't last nowhere near as long as the Red Wing. And Red Wings are made in the good ol USA. Hardly anything a walmart is made in the USA, just one of the reasons I HATE walmart. I wish tumble weeds was blowing across thier parking lots. walmart is the Evil Empire but I'm getting off the subject. I like Red Wings.
