I learned at a very young age that ANYTHING is possible. Sometimes all you need is a fist full of cash and a very large hammer.
Nice to see you again Elbi.

welcome back elbi, my best to you for your loss.
What engine are you wanting to turbo? If you know what your doing you can put any turbo on any engine, with some work. Once you have one, you need to install it into the exhaust system somehow, depending on how common the engine is your using you may find a header or modified manifold you can use. Then mount the turbo and make sure you rig up an oiling system. Intake tubes from the turbo to the throttle body will need to be made (TIG welded aluminum is what I did once but for a different application). Then the intercooler, dont really need one but it will make a differnece. Much easier said than done.

Yea, everything thecarguy said, then you are going to have to worry about adequate fuel needs in order to keep from leaning the motor out and blowing it up. Nice turbo setups take some thought and money.
What are you tuboing again?

Yeah, sorry to hear about your loss. The only other thing that I might see you that you will need is a wastegate, and a blowoff valve, although the blowoff valve is not necessary but it sounds cool when it vents. Good luck with your project, and let me know how it comes out.

Thanks to all of you for your condolences.

I'm assuming you've got a 1.6l engine??
I'm pretty sure, but not positive that it is the B6.
YOu COULD get a turbo manifold from a wrecked 8?- 89 323 GTX, though I'm not sure if they were sold in PR. If they were you might as well scavenge as much as you can off of it if you can find one. Turbo, intercooler, piping, ETC. Or for that matter you could take the whole engine, wiring harness ECU and so on.
Or you could order one from an outfit like Corksport (http://www.corksport.com/)
Another option would be to go for the BPT from Corksport as well. More power out of the box, and a hell of alot of potential. A guy in Canada had a 10 second MX3 using one of these engines, it had something like 570hp.
