Hi, we have a small club here in Huntersville, and the Charlotte area. It has about 10 members now and we are growing fast. We mostly cater to imports but have an open mind about most everything out there. I was a Hot rodder before I decided to get a car for fuel economy and then was hooked on the imports.
We have a forum and website. We can try to help anyone with any ?'s they may have import or domestic.
Our forum is www.ectmotorsports.com and our site is www.ectuners.com. or www.eastcoasttunerz.com

Check us out!

JDM, i have a question. What car do I pull a tranny from to use a H22 Turbo? I pulled the motor from a wrecked prelude and was told that with a turbo and the other mods im planning the stock prelude tranny is too weak. Should I go get a prelude tranny or another one?

I would go ahead and use the lude tranny. They did have a problem with the auto tranny but the manual has worked fine for my pals drag car for over 3 years now. Also, I dont know of any other tranny that will bolt up. I dont think the F series would mount up with out some serious work and they arent as strong as the H anyway. I have heard of a guy using a D series tranny with a F engine but he had to fabricate a tranny adapter.
I hope this has helped you.

Thanks for the advice. Im not quite sure whats gonna happen with this. Its for the rear of a custom buggy that im helping a friend build. We might end up going to this company down in san diego for a VW one with special housings to fit the honda motor so we can have extended, double cardian (c/v) U joints.
