Well, the new house is ready and and this one is sold with closing on both in a week.
I've been going through and packing stuff out in the garage and while looking in a box that has been packed up since my last move, I found a Shadetree Mechanic Merchandise order form with a picture on the front of a younger Sam and Dave. After finding it, I remembered calling for it because I wanted to get a fender cover with the Shadetree Mechanic logo on it like they had on the show and it's one on the picture of the order form. They didn't sell the fender covers and I never bought anything from them. I guess I should have bought a hat or coffee cup or something.
I also pumped up the tires on the old van, got all the stuff off the top of it and pushed it outside. I still really like that old van and my daughter was telling me what all we have to do to it to get it running. Bike first and then the van.

Good Luck with the move wheel..............How far are you going?? I know distance doesnt matter that much its the packing and unpacking that is the hardest part usually. I have been doing alot of that myself recently........they moved my office...........then i had to move most of my furniture off the carpet for it to be cleaned then almost had that all back in place and had to move everything out of my kitchen so my landlord could redo my floor. It is almost done and it looks great.........so much that i decided i am going to paint it before we move the stuff back  Oh well it will be a lot of work but it will be worth it.
Good luck on the move no matter how far it is and dont break anything LOL :D

I'm only moving about 15 miles but it's so much stuff. When we got married, we moved two houses into one and although I got rid of all my furniture, I had other stuff, some of which is still in boxes from almost 9 years ago. I need to get rid of some of that stuff. The new house has a smaller garage and until I build another one, I have to fit in tool boxes, motorcycle, mowers, powerwasher, kids bikes, air compressor, work benches, ECT...
The house is bigger and more land, so I can build the new garage and a shed for mowers and such. I can now build the playhouse for my daughter and finally have a garden.
I've got my ol van loaded and my old truck is loaded with the trailer hooked up ready to load. This week is gonna be busy with lots more packing for the move next Monday. I can get all the boxes I need from work so that's the good thing about working there.

Congratulations on your new home. I hope It's everything that you and your family wants. The worst thing about moving, is moving itself. Sorry, just a little dry humor.

Well 3 days before the big move and we still have lots of packing to do. Sunday night I will pack up the computer and don't know about what internet service we will get at the new place. Now we have the good ol cable high speed service but where we are moving has no cable in the area. I sure hate to go dail up but the dish internet that I checked on was just too much and I don't know how good it is. We will get some kind of dish tv and the folks that I talked to said if you have satellite internet, then you have two seperate dishes. I don't know how long before we get back online but we can't take too long as my wife needs it for work.

This may be my last visit until.......... I don't know who I will get internet service with. I know I will no longer have the speedy cable service and I wont get aol and thats about all I know.
I got everything from behind the garage and loaded it on my trailer which is hooked up to my old truck. My daughter seen the trailer loaded down and ask if she could ride with me to the dump. I had to tell her that, that was good stuff and we was taking it to the new house.
I had wanted to have my Bike together and be able to ride it to the new house, but that didn't happen so I have to haul that too. I spent a good while getting parts in order in boxes so hopefully I will be able to find everything when I need it. Not what I had planned but aint nothing I can do about it now.
I buried something behind my garage 8 years ago and now I can't find the dern thing. I didn't bury it deep and knew about where it was and now it's just not there. It looks like someone has plowed a garden back there where I've done stuck the shovel in the ground so much. What I thought would take maybe 5 mins., took me a couple hours and still didn't find it.
I'm hoping that I can build another garage real soon. I wanted to build it about 40x40 but may have to settle for a 30x30. The garage I have where we're moving from is about 24x27 plus a room built onto the rear. Time will tell.
Well, I'll unhook sometime tomorrow and will be back sometime. I'll be very busy but may pop in one last time.
Talk to yall later, Big Wheel

Wheel, I'm trying real hard not to laugh, what the hell. ROTFLMAO!!!It was kinda funny. When I told her the stuff was good, she just looked at it and said, "It is?"
No, not a body, but it is a shell from the war of northern aggression. I've had it for about 20 years but buried it because it is still live, and I didn't want it in the garage because should there be a fire or something, it would blow up. Not a good thing to happen.
Man, what a day! Boxes everywhere and still more to pack. I've already taken my old pick-up and trailer to the new place and got the ol van towed also. I have another trailer outside loaded with room to add the dog house in the morn. The good news is everything is out of the attic and I don't have to go back up them dern fold down stairs. We hired movers because during the week, all my friends are either at work or hung over. I'm glad we got the movers, let them carry the heavy stuff up the steps.
Well, color me gone as I wont be back around again until ..i don't know when. I'm beat and my feet hurt. Have to get up and do it again in just a few short hours. I'm not working tomorrow but will go back Tuesday so I can take a break. Next time I move, I'll leave everything and just sleep in my tent.
