I saw the Tornado Fuel Saver device on an infomercial and was wondering if its worth the $70. Anyone have any good or bad info?

use the search function of this forum, there are about 30 posts concerning this device, none of them good.....obviously this device blocks air intake into your engine just from it's bulk.....less air, less power, less mileage......don't believe all that you read (or see on TV)

the term is snake oil-i think there are too many products that use the fine theory print to stay out of trouble, especially when their products do not perform as advertised.

I know a guy that bought the Tornado for his Dodge Dakota & his fuel economy went up from 15 to 20 mpg in the city. In fact, everybody that I know that has one says that it has worked for them.

I have been looking through all the posts about the tornado. I too saw the comercial. From what I have seen in all the other posts is that it sounds like it works great for bigger GM motors (305-454) and some smaller Dodge Dakotas and foreign vehicles. It also sounds like if you have a Ford for some reason.....lol..... that it does exactly the opposite of help. Anyway, I would also like to see anyones opinion that has it in a 98 C1500 5.0 L, or just any 96 & up 305.
