82 Dodge Rampage

I bought an 82 Dodge Rampage to restore and take to shows. Problem is...finding body parts is an impossibility ! I live in Western Canada and have searched coast to coast, so does anybody know where after market body parts for these old " L " bodies are made ?
Also, just to give you all a laugh...the thing has a 4spd tranny..not funny in itself..but, even tho theres no problem shifting etc...the stupid thing feels like an 18 wheeler ! the gears are real close together, and if you don't know it's coming...shifting into 4th is a laugh, because you end up reach almost out the passenger door ! go figure eh ? thing runs & drives great, but that 4th gear will get ya...everytime !

Thanks for all your comments guys...
Sue

PASS

Personally I would pass..... My parents and 2 aunts had one, they were newer, but ALL had problems. Thats probably why he is selling too.

My suggestion is to pass ya going to put more money in it than its worth. The front diff is around a thousand dollars new just itself. If it needs a from diff it needs axles more than likely. A seal isn't any trouble if thats the only thing thats the matter. An engine is no trouble since a chevy 2.8v6 will bolt right up. If ya pocket is low and ya dont want to invest alot in a retro. Pass it up
