302/351W powered Rangers out there??

Hello all! Im Stormngt, I am looking for any trick, tips or thoughts on my winter project "89 Ford Ranger" 302 or 351W powered. I have a C4, both short blocks and thats about it. I have seen many at the local tracks this summer so now I want my own S10 beater! I need some no-no's, do's and dont's on engine mount kits by different vendors, header aplications, trans mounting and driveshaft dimensions. I know some of you Ford guys are laying low in this GM dominate forum, but have no fear cause another Ford Buff is here! Any help or website to refer me to would be great, maybe I'll get lucky and some of you have pics? No wife pics please as I have enough of them already, (my wife that is....)! Thanks for reading this post and good-luck you V8 powered S10 guys!

Jelousy is an ugly action...

What can I say, the man's tast has been warped by the boxy, chopped look of his Blazer, he could grasp the sleek ans stylish look of my truck, hehe! My truck wont be seeing any lake bottoms but will see plenty of track slips while the other lanes will see these small letters F........O.......R........D!

Miles apart, close at heart...

No Dad and I live much further apart that I prefer. Mostly bench raceing is all he can do since the switch to slowmaro's and bowtie frenzies. Now I just send him pics of my Stang lifting the wheels off the ground and I know he gets a kick out of it! Hell Dad was scared ****less the last ride I gave him in a real street-rod, but he wont care to admit it!

My baby's demonsions.....

My beloved "Code Red" started life out as a 1992 Firehouse Red Mustang GT hardtop. When I purchased her, she was the victim of theft-recovery and was nothing but a battered shell. I braught her to life in the most abraupt way with a 331 10.5:1 comp stroker motor, a trans-braked C5 and a rearend from bulletproof hell sporting 31 spline Strange axles, 4:10 rear gear, c-clip eliminators and a full Strange spool. Code Red received a beautiful coat of Viper Red paint with italics that included the engine bay, and car was hoisted in the air to sprt a GM (HEHE) black coat for the underbody. It brings tears to my eyes talking about her, as I had to pass her on in Sept this year. But her name and memories will live on. I have had 2 track sessions with her after 1000 miles of break in, now remind you she wasnt even dialed in or tuned to track times, it was just a see what she can do for a honest street machine. I pulled a 12.03 on street tires my first time out! Wish we could add pics to this site, I'd show you some.

I have asked "bigbry" about pics on this forum and he said they have hired someone to over see this and some other sites they have, he said they are working on that and should happen.
