Bronco Info V8 upgrade

Seriously, what year is your B2? What transmission? You can buy a kit (around $1000) or you can use Fox Body Ford parts for the swap (Cheap!). You'll still have to buy headers due to tight clearances with the steering shaft. As to your tranny, if it is a C5 you can use it but you'll need the belhousing and TB from a C4.
Any other tranny will NOT work. Plan on getting a C5 (1984 only) or better yet a C4 from a 4X4 F150 (assuming your B2 is 4X4) and using the stock transfer case that came with your B2.

I have researched this swap for more then a year and plan to do mine this winter.

Note: A 302 (5.0) will fit with only minor modifications to the airbox. A 351W (5.7) will require major mods.
