help. beef up a 305

i have a '75 chevy nova hatchback. and it has a 305 2bbl. i was wondering if anyone could help me with beefing this motor up. i'm looking for suggestions. act like money isnt a problem. i'm just looking for some ways to get more horsepower out of my motor and maybe beat some other neighborhood 350's. if you have any suggestions please imform me about them.
