We filmed the the Marine Dream Corvette episode this past weekend. GYSGT John Hayes flew to Tampa, FL for several days and worked with hosts Kevin Byrd & Willie B. We had so much fun - we made TWO episodes!

I'll bet that made that guy feel good just to help work on his own car. He was pretty good with those hand controls making those tires spin like that.

John was awesome. And yes, he jumped on that gas first time. We kept telling him, we just installed everything.. give it some time.... No telling him to hold back....

I had to cut a ton out of the show. He really did a ton of work and learned a lot. Then we found out he had just gotten out of the hospital the week prior. He was going way above and beyond what he really should have been doing. But he was just too excited to stop.

Great guy and we were glad to do it.
