Hi 96° Low 76° but with Mr. Humidity, it was 101° and it's 81° now. Fingers crossed that the central air doesn't go out! They're saying that it might drop down in the mid-80s next week. I'll believe that when I feel it.

Well the comfortable weather (85°) left us just as fast as it got here.

We hit 98°, but with the humidity, it was 107° with no rain in sight.

I live about an hour from where they closed the Mississippi River in Greenville several weeks ago. They're filling the barges about half full and they're still saying it's cheaper to go by River ($.33 a bushel) then transported by truck ($1.33 a bushel).

Don't shoot the messenger, I'm just going by what they're saying on TV.

I figured the storm/hurricane would fill the Mississippi back up. We (Ohio) have gotten scattered showers from it for going on a couple weeks. One area may get 4" another 1/2".
