Do you have the 4 cylinder, or the V6? With GM's the normal strategy is the cam sensor is important for the fuel injection, but not for cranking ignition/starting. You can unplug it and still get the car to start.

You say you don't have spark. OK but how did you check for spark? Did you use a tool like an ST-125 which looks like a spark plug with an alligator clip that you connect to a plug wire? If you have a V6, and you didn't get spark at one coil, did you try the next one and/or substitute a plug wire for confirming no spark?

Do you have power to, and ground for the ignition module, as well as the coils? With the quad 4 you need to measure for the ignition commands from the PCM to the module, with the V6 it does not need the PCM to send a command until the PCM commands spark bypass to create spark. The V6 uses an ordinary strategy for GM where the EST line is grounded by the module until the PCM sees a high enough engine RPM and sends a 5v signal to the module on the bypass line. The module then ungrounds the EST line and from that point follows the PCM's signal for timing advance/retard.

Do you have access to a scope and a low amps current probe?

When testing the module, coils, etc how did you confirm them to be "good"?
