You are restoring the car so are you doing anything to the engine or leaving it stock.?

nos

well i have seen the movie and i'll tell you this. those engines they have in there cars are built to the hilt.the best thing to do is alot of research before you go and use nitrous. call around and speak with them about there system and your application. there is alot to learn. to get the bottles and system under the seat like that takes pure fabrication.its all custom work. where the seat is supposed to bolt to the floor a box was built under the seat and the seat was bolted to the box but the bottom of the seat was put on hinges so it could be tilted up. my sugestion would be to put the bottles of nitrous in the trunk.personally i dont feel to good about driving around with dynomite on my lap and your passenger probably wouldnt like the idea of haveing a potential ejection seat in an accident.lol
anyhow think about other components of the car before using nitrous like drive shafts, transmission, suspension and the lower end of your engine which will take all the abuse when the nitrous kicks in and i'll tell you this it kicks hard.
good luck

parts

What kind of axle do I need to put under a Nissan maxima or Isuzu Rodeo to make it Nos compatible?
also what kind of Transmission and engine block do I need that will handle the Nos when it kicks?
Because I want my Maxima to be able to out run a Dodge Viper and Right now it can't out run a Corvette

I was looking around on here and found this thread, the guy wants to out run a Viper JUST BY USING NOS... IN A MAXIMA LOL LOL that is very funny, what do you guys think? I say a good 300 shot should do him... Ohh and just the mention of the Fast and the Furious, I liked the movie but it really got me when they just look at the car and talk about how much NOS he has, I can have TEN bottles in my trunk but if its not jetted to shoot more than a 150 shot then I am not gonna get more power out of it I will simply have more volume to shoot into it. ohhh well.
