trans swap
I have a 67 GTO that i'm swapping the trans out. It has a 400 in it now i would like to put a 200 4r in it and was wondering if anyone has done this and what should i be aware of. any help would be GREATLY Appreciated thank you in advance

Why not a 5 or 6 speed Richmond or Tremec?

off top of my head and been a while since worked with a 400 or 200 tranny but I think the tails are different lengths which you may need a different driveshaft. But the rest should work. 200 was a tough tranny but there are better ones out there today.
