86 SS monte......

Whats up peepz, heres my question , i am slowly restoring a ss monte carlo (86) the motor is a 305 h.o , soon replaced with a 383 stroker . i took out the 700 r-4 trannie, i replaced it with a favorite (turbo 350 w/ Stall ) i cant get my odmeter to work at all......It shoots straight to 85 as soon as i start moving. the gear inside the trannie is orange w/ 25 teeth. the rear is 3:73 gear ratio, i also need some parts for it...interior, tail lenses, parl lenses , does anyone know where i can get new aftermarket parts for it....if anyone is building of the same , send me a web link so i can check it out.....thanks for your time....

Well shadow iam not sure on the speedo problem, if you have the factory cruise control box on the monte( on driver side inner fender) and the cruise is operational that might be the prob, i had the same thing happen in my el camino, but since i was going to replace the guages with autometer's it didin't matter..though it also might be a speedo recalibration problem on yours.. but iam not totally sure on this though..I do have a website for monte parts though www.mikesmontes.com They had some parts for my elky that no one had...
