heat shield
I am interested in the Heat shield that was put on the Mustang. I am considering putting it on my 68 camaro, but I am concerned moisture will get in behind it and rust the floorpan and firewall? Does anyone have experience with this?

I personally haven't had any experience with it but here's a video explaining its purpose. But whatever you use, the surface has to be absolutely clean before applying. Which I'm sure you knew that already.
Lizard Skin may work as well to. Welcome to the forum.

Stuff works great. We did a demo with it last year blowing a blow torch at it and it was cool on the other side.
The back is full 3m tape, so as long as it's a clean surface and applied smooth it's great.
