Head swap cause of oil burning?

I have a street/strip 351W. I just swapped my iron TFS Highport heads for the new Aluminum Highport heads. Everything was fine before the swap. Now,ever since the first fire up,it smokes big time at idle, and when backing off after holding the RPM. I have removed the intake and inspected gasket crush, and resealed using new gaskets glued to the heads, and using a stud kit instead of screws. There are eight screws that, one for each cyl.,break into the roof of the intake port. These hold the rocker arm shaft assemblies down. I removed and resealed those using Permatex Aviation sealent, the black stuff. Still smokes. Just removed one intake valve spring and checked the seal. The Teflon seal looks fine and guide tight......all new parts here. I am stumped! Any thoughts??It is not the PCV valve either...disconnected that. No vacuum line from auto trans either...full manual C-4.

sounds like oil getting past the valve guides somehow. maybe the seals look good but are failing when warm.

Try a wet and dry compression test and compare the results for all cylinders. It can't hurt to try because maybe there has been a compression change in your engine or one broken ring. When I say wet I mean with motor oil but I don't mean any insult to your intellect, I just stated that so as I might have sounded ****y.Just want to help you. Good luck.
