removing paint stain
The other day I drove past a worker painting a fresh white line on the road and, despite moving way over to the shoulder, my tire splashed a bit onto the bottom of my my front fender & it was dried on before I noticed it. Can you recommend something effective to remove this dried white paint without hurting the car's paint itself?

Mineral spirits, rub GENTLY, rubbing hard may remove your paint.
Or use bug and tar remover. There is another product called CRUD remover. The next time you approach the road being painted or stripped, drive VERY SLOWLY on the fresh paint, get a good coat on your tires and then drive in an "S" pattern down the road ("S" pattern like race car drivers do when they try to get the junk off their tires). People will think the guy painting the road was on dope !!!!! |
