Slvania Silverstar

I put two Silverstar 9006 ST bulbs in my wife 1998 Honda Accord about a year ago. A couple of months ago one of them failed. I removed the bulb and it was a clear filament failure with no discoloration or marks on the bulb. A purchased a replacement from Advanced Auto for another $26.11 since there is no warranty. Now the second of the original two bulbs has failed. This is either a p-poor design or manufacuring. I have sent an email to Sylvania and plan to contact the Advance Auto Corp. here in Roanoke. Has anybody else had a similar experience with these bulbs which Dave marketed during one of his shows?

Haven't try them, but I thought they were good, now I know they are not.

same subject, different application

I bought some lights for my home that claimed to be 5000 hour lights, well I dont know how many hours they lasted, but all three burned out the same week, one was in the kitchen and two in the hall and all are used daily. It was a planned timing thing most defenitly.
