Exhaust

I recently have notice that my car when I'm driving it and when I apply the brakes therefore stop lowering the Rpms I hear out of the exhaust one blast or explotion, the car did not do that before.
The car has no catalytic converter and 2" pipe. That started happening after I cleaned the intake of the engine and the fuel injectors. Is there anything wrong or is that a normal thing?

One other thing, I also notice yesterday that when my brother hit the accelerator on my driveway I saw some liquid in the muffler's tip. The engine was at working temperature and of course it was a hot day. First time I have seen that in the muffler, but it may be a normal thing too. You guys have any guess?

water out the exaust is common. i ss it in a lot of cars. Dunno if its anythig bad tho. For your pop....my truck does it too. right wehn i let off to shift I get a pop. I also have no idea what it is, but once the beast warms up the pop goes away. Any others want to chime in on our popping problem?

i don't think that popping in the exhaust is normal, sounds like the ignition has a small problem, could be dirty/carboned plugs

Could that be fixed just by changing the plugs?

popping

A lot of times the exhaust has a leak and when you let off the gas it sucks in colder air than what is inside and will pop. Check around the exhaust manifold for leaks and before the muffler. I had a 69 Mustang that had the cheap headers and they sounded like a machine gun going off when I let off of it. The headers had all melted around the heads and I did not have the money for new headers at the time. Lets just say it got your attention.
