77 camaro wiring problem

my car is a 77 camaro z28 when i have all the lights on and hit
the high beams the dash lights go out and my tachometer doesnt
work until i turn the high beams off?

wiring problems are the worst to diagnose, but it definately sounds like you need to trace the headlight circuit, it is possilbe that it has something to do with the high beam indicator light(ground problem).
