no start
'90 corsica will not start. get gasoline
going 'backward' to air filter. when throttle plate manually opened gasoline pors ou5t of opening. any ideas? |

Hmmmmm.....
Don't sound good. You might try a compression check. Maybe a burnt / broken intake valve????? You could unplug the electric fuel pump and listen for air (compression leak) coming thru the intake when you crank it. |

no start
Are you saying that fuel is going into the airfilter and not down the throat? And when you open the throttle, it pours out? Just gotta get it straight..
