What do you use to clean your car?

I was just wondering, what you guys use to clean your car inside/out. My car is brand new 2002, is there certian waxes/cleaners i need to keep away from my paint job? Also i would like to make my car look very glossy, what is best for that job and what is the process? well, sorry if i asked to much but any help is appreciated.

I would stay free from abrassive waxes and polishes. Use a soft mit for a safe wash. The soft mit absorbs the dirt particles and it doesn't let them swirl around on your paint. Ask Big Bry in here about the mit they used in one of the episodes. It works very well. The dealership sells quality waxes for your type of clearcoat, get with them for a suggestion.

I heard Maguirs has the best Wax. My Grand Am is a 95 my previous owner didn't do too many wax jobs and i did the first this last week. I must say admit I don't know who has the best Wax but I could definetly see the pigment in the reflection of my eyes as a drooled on my shiny car.

Meguires and Mothers are the best on the market (IMO) but from what I have heard, Zaino has a awsome waxing system out, and it is supposedly one of the best wax finishes you can buy!

I clay the car first to get all of the junk off the paint. It leaves a smooth as glass finish. Plus I don't get any of the junk on my wax pad, which ends up scratching the paint
I found that the Meguires Clear Coat prep and Swirl reducer works great after a good claying to take out some of the really fine scratches or "spider webs" in the paint.
Then some Zaino wax after awards and for a good keep up.
For the motor nothing seems to work better than Simple Green.

After my engine dries I add some CD-2 Engine Detailer. People ask me everytime. "How do you get your engine so clean???"
My favorite on is"MAN! Your engine is so clean in could eat off of it! How did you manage this?"

the best thing i have found is duragloss its made just for clear coat paints and it makes your car have that wet look and cd2 is the best for the engine

A mild wash, DRY the car not air dry, A good carnuba wax, and some high speed buffing. BE VERY CAREFUL high speed buffing done incorrectly will take ALL the paint off the car before you can blink. pay attention to the small details, it will make the car worth more when you go to sell it or trade it in
