motor swap

hello,
this is my first post and hope i can get some good info.I own a 74 mustang II it has a 4cyl and was wondering if a newer 4cyl can be used in place of the older less powerful motor.

Sure it could, if you have, or you know someone who has, the ability. It would not be hard either. Are you thinking Turbo Motor? I am. You could start with a turbo t-bird donor car and go from there.
OR
5.0 and really surprise all the big boys down town.
