Good luck.
Thanks, I need to hear these types of advice. It is exactly like you said, I was sitting anywhere ready to doze off. It did not matter where. Last night I actually looked forward to putting the mask on. I slept till ten am. I have some other things going on but in the area of the c-pap, I felt great this morning. I looked on craigslist and found the very same one I have for $200.00 but will wait to the doc tells me more next week. I have to have it and right now the one I have I am renting from a medical store, I dont have insurance being laid off and they are looking for a program to purchase it. Thanks again.

Al, you are so right, tonight I went to the area car lots and just walked around and loosened up. I felt better afterwords. Figures!

You and Daniel know me all to well. I will say that with my Dodge I am so happy I feel no other car fits me better. I leave the windows down so far just to hear that sweet magnum engine. I dont remember the last time I have been this happy with a vehicle. Plus no new car payments in my unemployed budget right now. Lottery is my only chance..lol

P.S. I am so happy at least tonight about the Tigers being tied for 1st. I watched a game in the hospital that New York bommed them in the 9th but the announcer said that it has been years since Detroit at this time in the year have only the Tigers to cheer for, with the Pistons and the Wings both done. It is a great sports town with the teams it has. Go Lions

Can someone please explain “ This ” to me? How could it take so long so that justice could be served? Furthermore, how could someone do this to start with?

Some really sick people in this world.

CPAP advise.

I have heard of some places taking in older machines to help those without insurance. It wouldn't hurt to ask your Doctor.

You definately want a heated humidifier. Nothing worse than dried out sinouses.

Make sure they give you a chin strap to hold your mouth closed while asleep.

Depending on how much pressure you need, you may have to go to a full face mask. At higher pressures my lips blow open and air escapes. This causes your mouth to dry out. I found out the hard way that this ruins your teeth. The full face mask ballances the pressure inside and outside of your mouth, so it eleminates the problem.

At the lower pressures I liked the nasal puffs because hated the masks. Even though your nose had to get toughened up (sore nose at first). However I woke up a dry mouth often then too. The full face mask eleminated the dry mouth completely. I have to recomend it.

Masks - you definately want to clean it every day. My wife can get by without daily, but I cannot. I have oily skin. The oil must be cleaned off. It turns toxic to your skin and you will look like you were chemically burned. Once irritated the skin is difficult to get to heal up while still using the mask. This is why I hate the mask, but I still think on ballance the full face is the way to go. I just wipe it off with a wash cloth every morning and have no problems at all. Skip a day and ouch!

Good Luck

Why is it when I log in and type in a thread, if I take more than a minute to post it, then it says I must log in. So I have to log out then back in. This annoys me to know end.

I've never had that problem. I wonder if it's a preference problem either on your computer or with whatever program you use to access the internet with. Just a thought.

I kind of noticed that too a bit.
I find I'll login, reply to whatever message and before I'm finished I find I have to log back in again. As though we're timed out.
Maybe Bigbry could reset the timer. "I know I'm good for more than 3 minutes"

Um, that was intentional and I know it was of matter, not when, but who.
