For what it's worth
I went up to Milton today to pick up a couple of pylons that I lent to Dream Car for the cruise.

While waiting for the producer, Peter Klutt strolls across the show room floor wearing that smiley-smirk he always has. I extended my hand for a shake, said "hey" and he continued to where to was heading (in a rush somewhere).


Corv8, you have to drop by there. They have a bunch of new rods that your eyes would not believe. $5.00 admission ALL procedes to chairity.

I have been meaning to get out there some time but it never works out . right now my car is broken a U joint is gone , a simple fix I know but to find the time!

How did it go the night they were at the cruise.

The cruise was fantastic and Tom did his thing during announcement time and the 50/50 draw. Very professional. It turns out he's been a local boy since the dawn of time and has a local garage of his own, in Burlington.
Obviously two local boys that worked hard and made it. They don't flaunt their success and seem to be as real in person as on the show. When I talked to Tom about the cruise he was just another guy. He did not play celebrity. I talked to him last year on the phone about something and it was just another conversation.

BTW, I was at another hamfest in Milton yesterday and took the backroads home. I came across a 2door, red Corvair sitting at the end on a laneway in a rural home. No for sale sign on it, but may be for sale.
If you're interested I'll knock and ask details. I'm working up there this week anyway. let me know.

I've got a question, I've posted and seen web sites posted and when you click on them, Windows Media Player opens up and shows [someone running into a tree with their car or someone falling off a latter]

If someone sends you a e-mail with an attachment and you click on it, it does the same thing.

My question is, how can you get that web site that was e-mailed to you with an attachment showing whatever it is on Windows Media Player?

Thanks Porcupine, Beefy sent it to me to look at. I sent him several pictures of Bald Eagles that I tried to resize to the right pixels and I mess them a real bad. It's a good thing that you can't hear words laughing at you, I'm sure Beefy laughed his backside off.
