Antidisestablishmentarianism
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Antidisestablishmentarianism is a political philosophy that is opposed to the separation of church and state. The term originated in the context of the nineteenth century Church of England, where antidisestablismentarians were opposed to proposals to remove its status as the state church of England. The term has largely fallen into disuse, although the issue itself is still current. (See: Act of Settlement) "Antidisestablishmentarianism" is often quoted as one of the longest English words that has an actual meaning (as opposed to words that were made up for the purpose of being long ó see Longest word in the English language), although there is a longer word that falls in the same category: "Pseudoantidisestablishmentarianism", meaning false opposition to the separation of the state and the church. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antidis...shmentarianism

50's Game Show Question
The "$64,000. QUESTION" a 50's version of "MILLIONAIRE" required a constestant to spell "Antidisestablishmentarianism" to win the 64 grand. As I recall, it was the first time someone won that much money on a TV game show. Of course the show was an instant success, and ran for a few years.

"$64,000. QUESTION" was also a scandal, somewhere along the line they (I don't know who "they" are) found out that the game was rigged and some of the answers were given to the contestants.

$64,000 QUESTION... As I recall... SOME of the contestants were given a list of "practice questions" prior to the taping of the show, ... and wouldn't you know it, some of those "practice questions" were actually USED on the show. I guess you (and everyone else) would say that it was "RIGGED"..
and Martha Stewart has never lied to investigators.. how could that POOR, FRAIL, OLD LADY ever tell a lie???
