Painless Battery Cables

I've been thinking about replacing my main battery cables. I've seen the show where they had the "no start condition" (episode 214 I believe). I can't remember exactly if they replaced the battery cables with a painless battery cable set or not. If anyone knows the brand of battery cables they used, let me know. I checked in the episode list, and didn't see the cables listed anywhere.
Thanks,
Sam

I bought some replacement cables at Checker. 2 gauge positive and dual 4 gauge negatives. It didn't make as much difference on my newer car (92) but on my 88 it made a big difference. I was also wondering what the company was that Sam & Dave always talk about with screw together wires for splicing and adding electronics like radios, gauges, etc.? HTH.

Painless episode #205

In watching the Painless wiring episode on the 39' Chevy, a Billet firewall cover was talked about. Does anybody know where something like this can be purchased? I would like something clean to get the wiring from the passenger compartment into the engine compartment other than a big rubber grommet.

Billet Firewall Cover

I am not looking for individual wire connectors. I am looking for the Billet aluminum piece that was used to cover the bundle of wires coming through the firewall on the 39' Chevy in the Painless Wiring episode. This covers the bundle of wires exiting the firewaal into the engine compartment.

Billet firewall cover

The piece that was used on the '39 Chevy firewall is available from Watsons for the Street. I think they are in Connecticut.
