Expert? I've said it time and time again........I am no expert.......I make plenty of mistakes and sometimes give bad advice ...... I do however know allot about Fords. Especially Ford Trucks....even more about the Ranger/Bronco II. You know I love my B2.

BTW, I learn more and more everyday. My newest subject to be studied is the GoldWing.

Bugs in my teeth? You betcha.......but I have the kind of teeth I can hold out in the wind so the bugs blow off. LOL I knocked my real teeth out with a lug wrench, well, the front ones anyway. LOL

Careful? That is a no brainer. I have been riding since I was a kid with a break from 1987 until today. I am always careful. I don't heal as well as I used to. The day you discover that you are not invincible you learn something new....fear. LOL

Several of my friends have been smashed up on bikes - had to pull one friend out of a little old ladies radiator ( She didn't see the bike coming - wasn't looking for something small. Others lost them on gravel ... foot and a leg went to the dump. Another hit a deep pot-hole and .............. well ......... be careful of little old ladies that can't see.

A van I use to drive started getting gas in the oil and it was the fuel pump. But the pump was mounted on the engine and isn't yours in the gas tank?

i'm still trying to figure out how the oil pan was filling up with gas because the ground wire had a bad connection, the fuel has to go through the fuel injectors right? if there is a bad ground then the injectors stay open??

Wheel & Danny: That ground wire links to everything fuel related - amazing that anything could cause a filling of the oil pan with gas. I know that the fuel pressure regulator and do this, but I don't understand it in any exact way. Was my very first encounter with white smoke coming out the tail pipe being gas related ........... this all made my brain hurt.

The fuel pump is in the tank on this one.

Took the Power Brake Booster off ........ was full of gas. Putting a new one on.

This whole mess was bad ground wire and maybe Fuel Pressure Regulator.

Beefy's Bronco: It sure was - drained 4 gal out of the pan - holds 4 quarts of oil.

New Booster in, timed and running great now.

Good deal, and a job well done.

All because of bad ground!
