Going back to the first post. Nash's Cuda was auctioned off (I think it was Barrete Jackson but not sure) last year. It went for 165 grand. It was shown on the speed channel.

Ooooooooo..... The one that was in a "slight accident" I'm sure they used a "stunt double" for that action..

You have to look close and fast to see that the stunt double was actually a 55 2 door wagon dressed up tp look like a Nomad that took the steel beam, there was also an episode that showed how they did it, with the real Nomad in the background.

That episode really had the ol heart palpitating......... Just couldn't fathom crushing a "real" Nomad. A friend Roger Ha.... has one, that is "in need or restoration"....[read..ahh... right now, it's junk] time+money...time+money...time+money...time+money. .., Sure wish I had a lot of both..

Oh that '55 Nomad! That stunt made the weiner crawl back to the grill, when I saw that one!

And as far as Kight Rider, I liked KARR. It was like Data's brother Lore. Oh, darn it. I'm a geek.

What about James Taylor's 55 Chevy from Two Lane Black Top? Did anyone ever find a copy of that movie without the burnt spot at the end?

Also, the 65 Chevy and 69 Dodge Charger from Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry. Good movie, abrupt ending.

And Mad Max's right hand drive blown Austrailian Ford Falcon. Cool car.

On some of the outtakes they show while running the credits, they show the real Nomad and the dummy Nomad. I almost cried when I saw that show.

I stand corrected on the 66, but are you sure it was a Caprice? I thought it was a Biscayne, or Impala. Wasn't it a 2 door post? It's been too long. I'm not sure.
