Ban Lifted

I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!

I was banned from mudding after I got a rock stuck between a rotor and brake pad and $800!

The last time I went mudding was (...I feel like I'm at a AA or Al-Anon meeting or something!) March 2004!

My hubby finally lifted my ban today. I only went for like 5 minutes (before grocery shopping ). My husband was so funny. He's like "you're cutting too sharp!" so I just laughed and kept doing it and making my truck slide sideways! Then threw 'er in reverse to make sure I didn't miss getting my bed muddy too! I LOVE MUDDING!!! Yee-Haw!!!

rocks

I like to go mudding myself. On a vehicle that you take in the mud and through muddy water, the brake pads that should be used are bonded rather than riveted as the holes for the rivets will sometimes retain a rock or pebals and do just what happen to you.
The riveted pads and shoes are better, but if you are in mud alot bonded is the way to go.

Question, is it o.k. to joke about women and mud, or is that just not right here?

As long as the mud doesn't get too dirty.

My girlfriend likes my 4x4, even after she went with me to get it.

It was snowing and 4 inches of snow on the ground. She went to get in the other side, I looked up from the drivers side and she disappeared (she's only 4'11"), thinking nothing of it I see her head pop up past the edge of the seat (truck is an off road version so it sits high) then she disappears again.

I run around to the other side of the truck and there is a couple of snow angels in the snow and she is dusting the snow off her backside. She kept saying "I couldn't reach the handle"......I just almost wet my pants laughing.

She was a good sport about it too.

No, he didn't blame me. There was no way anyone would have known there was water under that debris without actually walking through it first...I keep that mind now btw!

He just banned me because we were really (REALLY) short on money at the time.

I've been really busy. Got married (again! lol! We did the Vegas thing in July to get him the Air Force system as a dependent-he's a civilian and I'm military and then we had our formal wedding for family and friends the beginning of October), working on my business, at the moment I'm in a class for work.

We got some really good rain two days before I had to leave for my class and I went to go mudding the day after when I got out of work and all the mud was dried up! That blew my mind. I've never seen that happen in AZ!

I think he thinks so...

He seems to like the fact that I would rather spend money on my truck and horse and dogs rather than buy clothes and shoes (mostly jeans, t-shirt, cowboy boots type myself).
