Classic Red Mustang on show?..

I saw an episode that had an old red mustang coupe with chrome rims. On the show they put a new exhaust on it and a custom hood. My question is... Does anyone know what year/type this mustang is?.. or any other information about it? .... I am more of a German car fan but I saw that mustang and was "wow'ed" ... Thanks!
