Ford V10 oil in coolant

1999 Ford chassis motorhome with Tritan V10 at 40,000 miles developed a problem of oil in the coolant. I researched the problem thru Ford with no success. I then ran a compression test 140 lbs per cylinder at 5,000 ft. I also ran a leak down test with less than 14% on the highest cylinder. I flushed the system and changed the oil no coolant in oil. I then proceeded on a 200 mile trip checking coolant and oil regularly the coolant was receiving oil and the engine was loosing oil regularly. No coolant in oil but now a quart low, I revisited Ford motor customer service they advised me they had still never heard of the problem. I talked with 3 local Ford dealers, 1 of which indicated that there may be a problem with the Ford engine oil cooler located at the oil filter. I visited other forums and found that several other people have had this issue. I have ordered a new Ford oil cooler and will replace it. Note I bypassed the cooler and the problem was resolved. I have pressure tested the cooler thru the cooler system and it shows no leaks. I reinstalled the cooler as it is the only way to test the oil pressure side and ran the motor for approx 10 minutes and oil began to drip out of the coolant tubes. I flushed the coolant system with fresh water several times running it to heat up the oil residue. I was unable to locate a product to flush the system properly and was concerned that any product may damage rubber seals in the radiator or hoses. If you hear of any problems with oil in the coolant I would be more than happy to assist. My email address is jimjennings@worldnet.att.net
